Deanies Kids Cuts has been operating in Currimundi on the Sunshine Coast since 2004.
After seeing many children become very upset having a haircut during her many years as a hairdresser… owner Nadene Connolly wanted to make the experience fun for all children, stress free for their parents and easy for the stylist.
That’s why Deanies Kids Cuts was created: to untangle the hair-care challenges of parents trying to find an interesting and enjoyable hair cutting solution for their kids.
Deanies History
In 2002 Deanies was an idea and a few notes scratched into a journal. After many hours of research, business plan development, and lots of chats with family and friends the plans where drawn, a location found and the design started.
With a very limited budget Deanies Kids Cuts was open for business in December of 2004.
Our first clients were Nadene’s sons, her neighbours and a few friends’ kids!
There was one staff member Nadene. But as the word travelled on that wonderful parents grapevine, about our great service and fantastic atmosphere, Deanies began to grow and grow. Over the past 4 years we have increased to a staff of 5, and a client base of 7000 kids. An achievement we are very proud of.
